The Career Workshop Pharmacy Assistants
The Career Workshop for caregivers is designed to provide domestically and internationally trained pharmacists and pharmacy assistants with an orientation to the pharmacy system in Ontario. The workshops will cover information related to the health systems in Ontario, and the standards of practice in the pharmacy industry.

Introduction
The Career Workshop for caregivers is designed to provide domestically and internationally trained pharmacists and pharmacy assistants with an orientation to the pharmacy system in Ontario. Please note the Private Career College Act, 2005 do not apply to any of the professional development, skill upgrading and short courses.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must satisfy ALL of the following:
Recognized professional pharmacy program or equivalent experience
Statement of professional standing or nursing license
2 years of professional experience
ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS
Students must satisfy ONLY ONE of the following:
Completion of minimum secondary school within a school system that is using English as an official language
Pass speaking interview

Will I receive a certificate upon completion of the course?
Yes, upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Professional Development, demonstrating your readiness to work as a caregiver or support worker.
Is the course content accessible 24/7, or are there specific class times?
The online course offers the flexibility of self-paced learning, with all course materials accessible 24/7 to accommodate individual schedules.
Are there any in-person components to the course?
The course is entirely online, with no in-person requirements. However, practical exercises are included within the online course materials to reinforce learning outcomes.

Students have access to expert faculty for guidance and support, as well as a dedicated student success team to assist with any technical or course-related concerns.
Will this course help me find a job as a caregiver or support worker?
